This project involves design and construction of new soccer field facilities.

Client: City College of San Francisco
Location: San Francisco, CA

AGS is currently tasked to provide civil/structural engineering design services for new soccer field facilities, which include design of site improvement and grading plans for the CCSF Soccer Field, storm drainage system, ADA-compliant access ramps, reinforced concrete seating areas, reinforced concrete stairs, roadway alignment and geometrics, parking layout, and eight retaining wall structures including reinforced concrete, soldier pile with concrete lagging, soldier pile with Permanent Ground Anchor (PGA), and MSE. AGS’ lead structural engineer is the EOR leading the approval process with California Division of the State Architect.

The new soccer field facilities incorporate sustainable features similar to LEED requirements. Sustainable features include improvements to stormwater quantity and quality, such as reducing runoff, increasing detention capacity, maximizing soil percolation, and delaying time of concentration and time of travel. All facilities are ADA compliant.
